FOURTH ENTRY....

In this entry, we had done our presentation of the system to Madam Azura. I had present in the research objective and the function of the form. It is about the objective of the system we develop. I also explain how the systems use to work and their function to the lecturer. In the presentation we accounted a problem when we key in the calculation of the pay slip for the employee. The calculation did well but there are some field that don’t suitable to be there. And we also find out that after finishing the calculation the system dint save the result of the calculation and it just save the value for each field except the result for gross pay and net pay. Only the field had been adding not the data for the gross pay and net pay. For this last entry I would like to give a lot of thanks to Madam Azura for helping and guiding us when doing this project. Also a lot of that for giving us beneficial information about incoming final year project in the next term.

THIRD ENTRY....

For this third entry, we are dividing work to complete the system. I had taken in the hardware and software part. For this system we chose to use Microsoft access to create the system and database for the system. It is difficult for us to develop the database system using Microsoft access because we have to fully understand all the function in the Microsoft access start from designing the interface form and create the database system in Microsoft access. First we have to design the interface form for the system and next we have to create the functions for the all the button in the form. Then we need to create the database form for the data that going to be saved in the system. We also need to create the form of the output for the pay slip so that they can be print. Meanwhile, for the hardware requirement, we had chosen the suitable specification laptop to run and develop the system. The system is not going to need high end specification because its only need a lot of storage size for the data. So we chose to use 4GB DDR3 RAM, 1TB HDD, and DUO CORE processor. Our system does not require a high end laptop to run it.

SECOND ENTRY

For this second entry, we need to do a proposal first before proceeding to the system development for the company we chose. The proposal will be check by our lecturer to see if there were any problem or mistake in the proposal that not necessary. The proposal had been divided into few parts and each member of the group gets their part. In this proposal i get the part that is system requirement, deliverable, design and evaluation part in the proposal. It is about the interview, questionnaire and feedback of the project. Also i have to make the design of the system for the interface of the system. In this part i have to get the information about the client and how they want the system to come out with. With this i also can find out the problems that occur in the company involving their staff and management. This is because we need to provide a fully reliable system for the company. After all group members had done the proposal and has been submitted. Our lecturer had been checked by our lecturer and has been approve by her to proceed to the next level in the project progress.

FIRST ENTRY......

In this semester we had taken 200CT subject, Professional Skill and Group Project and we were given a task. The task is to find a company and develop a fully functioning system to apply to the company we chosen. To proceed this task we had chose KELAPA GONCANG ENTERPRISE located in negeri sembilan. The company is a food production company based on coconuts drink. This company still using the old method to save their employee information and other information including pay slip records for their employee. With this system development, it will bring positive impact to the company, such as more secure data storage, faster when data needed, efficient in data management and many more. A discussion had been made with the owner of the company to make this system progress work much better. Madam Azura is our lecturer, had guide us with the progress of the system and give us more useful advice.
